Sophia Zarders is an illustrator & comic artist from Long Beach, CA. They're work is deeply inspired by social activists and bold thinkers. When they're not depicting social advocates, they're drawing/painting themselves in raw and colorful self portraits. Art has always been Sophia's biggest passion.
Sophia's editorial work has been published in The Nation, Socialist Review, Razorcake, and other publications. They were commissioned by Forward Together to create a poster design for Trans Day of Resilience 2017, as well as numerous flyers and posters for DSA Long Beach. They often share and sell their work at local zine fests, including LA, Long Beach, and OC Zine Fest.
